Houston Gold Exchange is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, we provide professional and accurate appraisals, evaluations, and identifications of diamonds, gems and jewelry. Our certified appraiser is also prepared to perform an expert appraisal at a location of your choice.

Our appraisal clients include brides and bankers, lawyers and auctioneers, insurance companies and financial advisers. Strict GIA Standards.

We offer free verbal appraisals. Type-written Appraisals with photography start at $150.00.

Custom Appraisals Assignments

Appraisals requiring over 20 hours of time for purposes other than insurance such as equitable distribution, divorce, or specialty reporting are considered custom appraisal assignments.  These assignments are priced at $125/hour or on a custom rate scale considering the scope of the assignment.  Please contact us for a custom a quote.


ROLEX & WATCH APPRAISALS

We appraise Rolex's and other fine time pieces for insurance purposes and/or vintage value.

Rolex & Watch Appraisals are $300 each. The appraisal includes photographing the watch, movement, all sides, bracelet, in between the lugs to show serial numbers and other distinctive markings.

All photographs are close-ups. An appraisal will be written up describing the watch, measurements, any noticeable imperfections, serial number and any historical information (if applicable).
