Rolex Lady President 26mm — 18K yellow gold, silver index dial, acrylic crystal, President bracelet with original buckle intact. Reference 6917, non-quickset, year 1973, serial 3.9M. A 1973 Lady President where the original buckle’s survival is itself a collector asset.
Description
A 1973 Lady President with its original buckle is a specifically desirable configuration in vintage Rolex collecting. The President bracelet’s original deployant buckle or clasp is among the most frequently lost or replaced components on vintage examples — and finding one intact adds genuine collector value beyond the watch itself. This 18K yellow gold President (serial 3.9M, year 1973) presents with a silver index dial, acrylic crystal period-correct to 1973, and that intact original buckle that makes it stand out from otherwise equivalent examples without the original closure. Reference 6917. No box or papers.
Original-buckle Lady Presidents attract the most detail-oriented Rolex collectors in Houston’s Bunker Hill Village and Hedwig Village neighborhoods and nationally — buyers who understand bracelet completeness as a component of vintage watch value and who specifically note original versus replacement closures. Houston Gold Exchange photographs bracelet hardware specifically for this reason.
In-person inspection available at our Houston showroom to examine the original buckle and overall watch condition. Online purchase available with insured shipping and comprehensive bracelet documentation.
